Another Twin Turbo Firebird...pics

Starting the build up of my 87 Formula TPI 5.0 M5 260rwhp and 352ft-lbs torque naturally aspirated.

Current Parts inventory:
2 Garrett 57 trims, with .63 A/Rs
2 38mm TurboSmart wastegates
headers, stainless mount over the valve covers
Air-to-Water intercooler
Turbonetic MF2 fuel controller
Mallory 685 Timing controller
(2) 160lb-hr injectors for secondary controller
Stainless exhuast pipes
stainless intake plumbing

will post pictures as I progress, shouldn't take over 10-12 days. (hopefully)
Target HP is: 18-20rwhp per lb of boost, so 15psi should net 550hrwp+/-

Not done yet but progress pics:

After:

Scrolling from the Before to the After pictures, my eyes went WIDE. That looks awesome. I plan to keep things NA, but I have to wipe a little drool away after seeing sick setups like that.

My stock 5.7 had 230 from the factory. What are you doing to get the rest? Is that BHP from a dyno?

I have about 1800-2000 total, (not counting nickle and dime stuff, clamps, wiring etc)

260rwhp...nothing to exotic...mainly attention to detail, Ported stock heads, roller rockers, Compucam 2030, matched intake pleneum, (all factory intake parts) All free mods, Hooker headers and full 3" exhaust.

Check out an old thread...

Do a search for "Another twin turbo camaro". It is a thread I started last Fall. It has a few pics and ECM info. The install itself is nothing fancy.

I'm using an air-to-water intercooler, mounted where the Orginal air cleaner was. passenger side front. I am using the washer solvent tank as the water source, with a Kawasaki 250 Ninja radiator cooling everthing up front of the radiator. I am using a 12v continous flow inline pump to pump water through everything...

Well that is one of unfortunate sacrafices that I had to make. The turbos are going to protrude out of the hood about 2". I decide that you see superchargers sticking out all the time, why not some turbos.....
