Blower???
have a 1991 camaro with 350 carb crate motor, was wondering what would be the best blower i can get for the a decent priece and where to order it from?

im looking to keep it carbed and make about 400hp and spend 2,500$ i believe the car right now is making somewhere around 280-290hp

There is no "cheap" way to do a blower. While I have a Weiand 142 on my engine, like was posted above, the engine has to be set up for a blower (mainly lower compression, but also a blower-friendly cam) and there is the little matter of having a cowl hood big enough to fit it under (4" cowl hood minimum for 3rd Gen).
A centrifugal setup would fit under the stock hood, but you still have to have the motor built for boost and there is the added expense of a blow-through modified carb to work with it.
To hit 400HP doesn't require a blower. You can hit that N/A with modern aftermarket heads and cams without great difficulty.

i have a 142 weind blower on my 350 with 10-1 compression msd6btm and am very pleased with the engine combo but having problems with u-joints in vette rear end was even thinking of losing the blower to save the u-joints
