hey whats up guys i just bought a ebay twin turbo kit for my 87 iroc with a 350 and i can say it is awsome there are a few diffferent kits on there but i researched them and got the right one. my motor is stock besides a exhaust and a built 700r4. it took me alil over a day with the help of a friend and yea it was alot tough but after cutting my self and a few cursing it was well wroth it. i dont have any pics of dyno #s yet but i can sure say it has so much ***** my friend has a 03 cobra supercharged and i killed him by 4 lengths and was still pulling i also raced a stage 3 srt4 which i hate so bad. but i ben running the kit for 3 days now and its good i mean i know its prob to much for my motor idk but i paid 2000 for the car. but alot of people think this kit is junk but for the price i love it espically when your blowing away most street cars. i think its a good buy i dont know how long the kit will last but its still worth the price i will post final pics and i wanna get it dynoed soon

What psi are you running? Do you have a two bolt main or four? TPI or carb? I am interested if you cannot tell.

 

Bullshit. Even with a TT kit, you are not going to be beating no 03 cobra by 4 lengths with a totally stock engine and tune. Not to mention the stock trans/ rear would not handle that kind of power. so bullshit

 

We dont know what kind of power he has. 2003 Cobra is not that fast. They have under 300hp at the wheels. Very over-rated. 87 IROC with 350 I am going to assume 275hp. At 5psi on the twin turbo setup you should have about 360hp. with 10 psi you should be running about 445hp. That is if everything is properly tuned. You also have to take into account the driver. I have seen plenty of racers that got beat by a guy who had 100hp less.

Not to mention the guy in the Cobra could have been a rutard.

first off dingus if you can actually read i said my tranny is built i work for a tranny shop and i built and on your bullshit call the cobra had a few bolt ons and yea i was running 8psi and yea it did take me alil over a day i start 6am and got done 2 am the next morning when i put pics up here you can shut up and for the record cobras suck its kinda sad when a ls1 with an exhaust can beat a stock cobra

I don't know, We are talking a turbo here not a supercharger. With just a supercharger , and everything necessary to run it properly, with only 4 lbs of boost on a 305, you should be killing C5 Vettes. Now, imagine what a turbo would be like on our cars!

 

I had to re-read that over again twice because the Terminator Cobra stock has way over 400 horses at the crank as they were under-rated from the factory. But it's putting out over 300 to the wheels. You can trust that.

But to the OP, well, show us some documents, receipts, pictures, something.... It helps us see where you're at and considering you've only got a few posts on here I'd have to say some of us on here will definitely want to see proof.

But I'm open to the possibilities, lol.

 

By the way noob, it's not really cool to get attitudes with people on here who are just trying to see what you have. I mean, get real. I don't think it is a matter of numbers , like HP figures or facts. The point is if you throw boost on our cars, you are going to make sick amounts of torque. My brother's 305 tpi car had just a supercharger and beat a stock 99' (supercharged) cobra and absolutely killed Ls1 cars and C5 vettes. That is with low boost too. Go figure.

 

No kidding. I am subscribed to a man on Youtube who has a mostly stock 1987 IROC 350 TPI with a turbo/exhaust on it. He makes 330rwhp. I'm not sure of all his mods but those are the ones I know of. It is a nice car & it's pretty fast.

Yeah, it is. Turbo's can make serious power on our cars and I think that'll be what I go with down the road if I can't find a pro-charger for a good price.
