Would love to see someone make one of these ebay turbo kits work for our cars but so far no one has posted anything yet that I seen.

From the picture that actually looks half way decent but I would like to see it in person bet its cheaper quality material. If someone has used one of these please let us know the quality!

That is the closest complete single kit you are going find for a thirdgen 305/350. Yes, it is cheaper material but it is cheaper cost also.
People have used parts of that kit, but no one here has used the complete kit.

Re: 82-92 turbo for sbc including 305. huh????

well looks like im the only one here so far trying to make a setup like that work.i have the headers and crossover pipe from this kit.purcased from xs-power.com.they go for 210.00 shipped .

they are stainless steel..the driver side header fits real well with about 1/8" - 1/4" clearance from the intermediate shaft.

the passenger side fitss ok but you will need to cut and modify the rear primary tube for clearance in order to fit the #8 spark plug

the crossover pipe will need to be lengthened about 1 to 1 1/2" in the middle and shortened on the end that goes over to the passenger side.............im still in the middle of everything so it isnt completed yet.

i bet that actual turbo is junk. maybe it would be good to just buy that type of kit if it works but get like a garret turbo or something like that

I take it the passenger side serpentine bracket will not fit as it is missing in the picture.

YES THAT IS CORRECT. if i wanted to i couldve fabricated the passenger side header so i could fit the serpentine bracket in place but i chose not to since i want to run the air intake piping and need the extra room. i have been drivin the car for over a week now with no issues

Overall it looks pretty good. I'd like to see something different with the placement of the wastegate, but as long as you're not trying to go with super low boost it'll be fine. I don't see a 3.25" x 2.5" coupler that is needed. That turbo is an ebay GT45/master power rip off that people have had good luck with. Plenty of good info on them at: http://www.theturboforums.com/smf/in...&topic=96046.0 Plans for me at the moment are doing twins with these over the winter.

Hey does anyone on here have an opinion on which is the better head for me to run on my street/weekend drag car? 041, 461, 462 vs. vortec. My older brother swears by the double humps but I really dont want to put 30 or 40 year old heads on my sb 350. Its got 33417369s on it now and they gotta go. Im on a pretty crapy budget though. I have like 800 bucks to spend on heads right now.

Re: 82-92 turbo for sbc including 305. huh????

you can pick up a set of sprtsman 2 heads for cheap now adays...........if you plan on more than .470 lift then i would go with somthing like the sportsman 2s......search ebay, and racing junk.com also..........sure vortec heads are a nice bang for the buck but they have limits too......
