all i did was google nitrous kits for 91 camaro rs....

 

I used NOS universal kit...

 

is that a 305 or 350?...you havent had any problems with it?.....did you have to mod anything to put it on?

1984 chev vette 350. I placed the nozzle in the TBI bonnet/hat. Drilled and threaded. sealed with Locktite. Fuel line comes from FRP(aftermarket) port. N20 is controlled by my aftermarket ECU. Not very difficult install. Suggested jetting by NOS was very rich on fuel. 50-75 HP jetting. Needed to lean it out quite a bit. Only had on car a month last fall then stored.

what did you get in the kit?

 

same as the link above. bottle , stainless lines, solenoids 2, relay, arm switch, fittings, assortment of jets(15), trigger switch, brackets. complete. needed nothing.

 

how man degrees did you dial back your timing ?

 

3 deg done by ECU only when triggerred. Otherwise I run on non notrous .bin. Knock sensor does another 2. No knock yet.

 

would a mild cam do it any good??

 

see comp cams line of N20 specific cams. Mine is 224/230 @ .05 114 LSA

 

i'm putting in a lt1 cam out of a 96 impala how will that cam work with nitrous ? not high jacking ,if this is a good cam than theres your answer .lol

 

<100hp should be OK. IMHO. Over 100 consult comp cams or their website on N20 cams
