whats needed to spray nitrous in l98
Ok so i have a 1987 350 tpi, or possibly a 305 tpi but i will know soon, anyways lets say for sure its the 350 if i buy a complete wet kit of like 100-200 shot what would i need to upgrade or replace before ever spraying it, or should i just use a little less or what would be the best setup for a little spraying here and there when my freinds want to race me but not to the point of hurting my motor of course, thanx

im not sure about using tpi for n2o. and NO you dont need to upgrade everything to run nitrous lol. i ran a 180 shot for a couple of years on a completely stock longblock.
make sure your timing is in check and it should run for a long time on the bottle

gaskets, seals, injectors, fuel pump, o2, plugs, wires, cap + rotor, oil change, trans flush, rear end fluid change, tires, fuel pressure gauge, wideband gauge, headers + Y pipe, air filters...
-this is if you want the motor to make power and stay in 1 piece....dont let anybody tell you other wise.

I ran 550lbs of nitrous through my 305TPI. I started with a 75 shot, then a 100 and quickly went to a 150 shot. That means I filled and emptied my 10lb bottles 55 times... Give or take. Lots of money spent, lots of fun had. Never hurt the motor...
It ran 15.70's/87mph NA and 12.80 @ 108 with a 150 shot. The most gains were seen with a 100 shot. The extra 50 didnt help much.
You need a bottle, solenoids, nozzle, and switches
I use NX stuff. Goodluck

Why would you need a trans flush and rear end fluid change lol. I have ran all the way up to 250hp shot with stock bottom end. Using a stock fuel pump, no wideband, and no air cleaner. The jetting for the recommended hp shots are rich to begin with.

my experience has only been with carbed engines, with a 100 hp shot you wont need colder plugs or need to retard your timing. anything above that you will need to.
just pick up the universal sniper kit for efi and drill into the tb elbow for the nozzles. since you are adding fuel and n2o im not sure you would need to change the tune at all.
autoroc would know
