Quote: Well, TurboTPI's best pass of 129mph in 2010 is abour 570whp as he stated. Which sounds about right, since a T62 is good for around 600hp on a 5 liter with a good intake.
TPI intakes are nowhere near ideal for huge HP numbers, but dont ever say they wont make good power. The power band of my car works great with my setup. 3.23 gears and 3000 stall work amazing with a boosted TPI (atleast turbo). Yes, hp may fall off after 6000rpm, but it makes power lower. And an added benefit is when only spining an engine to 6,000 rpm, your not in need of a crazy high dollar bottom end. My car has been making near 600whp for close to 8 years and 20,000 miles on a stock 150,000 mile cast crankshaft and 2 bolt main L98 block. This summer i stepped up to a t76, running 15lbs of boost, and drove the car daily for 3 months straight, completely beating the crap out of it. Engine never shows signs of weakness. And its making more power, no doubt. Too bad i didnt get to the drag strip before my trans let loose. My fastest trap speed was 130mph, full weight, with a 62mm turbo. Cant say thats not impressive, even with an LS based engine, that would be impressive.

Re: 383 tpi procharged
Does anybody know approximately what size pulley I would need in order to get myself around the 10 to maybe even 12 psi range? Would that seem like a safe amount of boost to run on an intercooled, aluminium headed, motor that has water meth injection and will be lowered to approximately 10 or 9.5:1 compression?

Probably a 3.7" depending how high you rev it, but you might want to start off with a 4" tell you get a handle on tuning.
