Sledgehammer plate
More pieces of the combo are coming together!
I finally got a slightly used sledgehammer plate.
Its made by Induction Solutions and has capacity to spray 150 to 600hp shot of nitrous.
Probably only use a max of 300hp shot.
I have to paint the solenoid bracket

It's going on a sbc 421

Can't wait for spring!

Re: Sledgehammer plate
I finally got to spray my combo this past weekend.
Used the 150hp jetting.
Did a personal best of 6.31@111.77 in the 1/8th.
1.46 60 ft on that pass
I had a ramp in it because the traction wasn't great and I was spinning
That pass would roughly equate to a 9.90 quarter mile
I'm pumped for the next outing !
More spray to come!

Re: Sledgehammer plate
Very awesome. Good stuff dude. I have been curious about what plate to buy for my 150-250 shot that I’m installing this winter on my 406. I’m going to do some research on this sledgehammer plate Keep us posted and pics are always great too

Update on the 150 shot with the plate
Went 6.07@112.9 with a 1.33 60ft with no ramp
Then with a 200 shot with a ramp of 60% out of the hole went
5.91@115.9 with a 1.3 60ft
Then a 250 shot with a 50% ramp went
5.72@118.9 with a 1.28 60ft
Super happy with this combo and the nitrous plate

Re: Sledgehammer plate
Another update!
Went to a quarter mile track
I was scared of spinning, so I was very conservative on the ramp and timing.
Sprayed a 150 shot, using the nitrous controller, I was 50% out of the hole, and increased to a full 150 shot within 1.2 seconds
1.36 - 60ft
6.06@114.7 at the 1/8
9.47@141.1 at the 1/4
Then went to a 250 shot
50% out of the hole, ramped in within 1.2
No 60 ft on the slip!!
5.75@118.6 (I let off at 5.4 seconds as the motor made a weird noise)
Then the throttle cable broke!
Still went 9.64@105
Oh well, I'll get it right at the next test n' tune
