Man, those $510 headers are just $79 block hugger headers with a T3 flange welded on.

Gotta change my line of work!

That guy actually DID make those. IF you have ever seen the Grape Ape Racing 2nd gen, those came off of it.

I wonder WHY he is selling it though.

They dont seem like they would be all that hard to fabricate... From seein all the plumbing and stuff Guido had to do, it looks like a TT setup would acually be easier to get goin. Anyone feel like welding me up a pair?

Guido,

I asked & he said that it was just a set that he threw together & not "his set". He is still working on his beast.

I still say that there is a pretty darn big market for someone with those. a simple header like that with one over the valve cover & one in front of the valve cover would fit "most" applications & get us pretty far along. how much more work is there after that? not much, IMO

Is he willing to throw together another set? If so, I sure as hell would be interested.

If I were you I would seriously consider it being done on your car. You cant concpetualize how close that steering column really is until you try putting primary tubes there I know because I had about 3 different designs for that side before I came up with somethng that fit.

Bring your car over here and Ill do up a set of twins for you. :lala:

I have some sanderson block huggers that I tried, but they are to close to the valve covers. Anyone know of "looser" ones that would work? Who makes the $79 headers?
Thanks,
J
