How to post pics in threads?

Im not that tech savy and wanted to know how I would be able to post some pictures in the threads? I took a couple of pics ov my vert and want to share them with everyone else. I developed some pictures in a drug store and received a Kodak picture CD.I tried to post some but no luck,please help! Thnks!

You can either have them hosted so you can link to them (your ISP should allow you some storage space for this purpose where you can upload files to their server), or you can use vB's Attachment feature.

Simply click on the Browse... button next to the Attach file option, which is below the Your Reply box. Find the file on your computer, then click on it and click on OK. Then hit the Submit Reply as normal.

Note, your image can't be larger than the current limit of 102500 bytes. If your image is larger, the forums will reject the image. You'll need to resize your image if they're too large in file size.

When you tried to post them and had no luck as you said, what part was you having trouble with?

I think I did what you just described and when I previewed my post all that came out in the reply box was this text:


C:\My Documents\My Pictures\Kodak Pictures\2004-05-27

It almost went through but the image was over the 102500 bytes allowed.How do I resize it so that I can post it here?

Do you have an image editing utility? Paint Shop Pro? Photoshop? Photo Impact?

If not, at the last resort you could use Window's Paint program that is usually installed, or can be added on, and just shrink the image down, especially if the picture's resolution is quite high.
