Missing child alert board

Owners and mods:

I got an amber alert about a missing child. To give it extensive nationwide coverage, I would have posted it on tgo if we had an appropriate board for it.

Would you consider creating such a board? Thanks.

I don't think so. Here's the message:

I am a store manager (Wal-Mart) from Longs, SC
who has a 9 year old daughter who has been missing
for 2 weeks. Her name is Penny Brown.
Please keep her picture moving on.
With God's help, she will be found.

I am asking you all, begging you to please
forward this email on to anyone and everyone
you know, PLEASE.

It is still not too late. Please help us. If anyone

anywhere knows anything, please contact me at:
zicozicozico@hotmail.com
I am including a picture of her.
All prayers are appreciated!!

If I knew how to do it, I would include her picture.

Is this the same guy?

I got an e-mail on 5-2-06 that is from a guy named STEVE BAILEY that has a the title "MISSING PERSON" and there’s nothing in the e-mail just an attachment. Then I saw this and wondered if it was connected because I am not going to open mine because I am worried it’s a virus.

I'm not picking on anyone here... more of a general statement.

It amazes me that people are obviously on the internet (when using a community forum or other communication tool). Which happens to be quite a vast resource of information.
Yet, somehow, they don't realize one can do a 5 second search on Google (or other search engine) to see if email (usually junk) is legit or a scam.

What to do when it says forward to everyone you know

You meant well at least.

It's unfortunate that leeches will sink as low as using lost children to further their marketing list
