Changes!!!

I have been reading alot of posts about members having problems with TGO (who cares) I also have problems and I know how to clear my cache, remove ad-ware and spy-ware etc! Now here is the change I would like to see, THE EMOTICONS SUCK!!! Can we get better ones, more of a variety, and possibly be able to customize according to our own usage??? Another thing that I would like to see change is if I have a member marked as a friend, it's hard to tell if they are on. Can they be marked by a different color of font or at least change the + indicator? While I am at it thanks to all the ModS and Admin and whoever else I may be missing who make this site possible.

The major problem is people who go on the web encounter a TON of invaders such as spy-ware, ad-ware, viruses and a bunch of crap. If you don't have a firewall, ad and spy ware remover, and all the tools necessary to remove the crap you will not get into any web site. People, clean your computers daily and get protection for them!!!!!

I believe you asked this before. The short answer is likely a No to having the smilies arranged by usage per user. That's a big code change with it likely only benefiting a select few (minority).

That's not the reason for some of the issues, lately. We are working on them. I think this thread should stay on topic, as you will see such past topics are being locked for a reason.

Its a little hard when you can't even get to the web site even after I clear my cache (yes I know how to do it) to search or get help for some of my cars problems. Granted some people don't know much about computers which apparently some people don't care they also need help too.

I suppose you have a valid point, but I have visited many a forum and have seen page upon page of family oriented emoticons. I was just wanting more emoticons either introduced or implemented in TGO.

Well it's all up to the admins, the emoticons are basically free as far as I am aware. Now JT is a great guy but he likes his banning power as the other mods do so let's consider myself lucky today.

Most people think they can get on the WWW and no problems??? The WWW is a market for coruption like no other place. If I may, I can provide info, and steps to combat internet rape. PM me for help or if an ADMIN allows it, I will make a sticky for free firewalls, virus protection, and ad-aware programs to remove all the junk that builds up on your comp every day! You all should have offered this a long time ago, motor-heads don't really care about this stuff!!!

I changed (I think) the user name to display in green font under the whose online list. If there is a better suggestion, let me know.
