Not able to post threads
For some reason I am not allow to post new threads in the "Parts Wanted section" and I get a error telling me so when I try. I didnt have my account banned or anything so what happened?
Dave implemented what was discussed in this thread:
https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/prob...-feedback.html
Basically, you have to contributed X amount of posts before you can post in the Classifieds section.

it is actually a good idea to put x amount of posts before you post something in classifield . There are many scamers lately on many message boards trying to scam people. This way it will pervent us (this site members) from scamers
Not only do I not have enough posts to participate in the buying and selling of goods, now my posts are being deleted without any response from the 'gods' that be, further adding insult to injury. So come on guys, tell me where I can get my muffler bearings for cheap....or what store sells antifreeze for my 72 Volkswagon Beetle.....No response will be appreciated. this is a perfect example of post whoring...wanna see more?

It appears to me the moderator deleted your post because that thread was an FYI thread. There is already a thread about this, where you can post your comments. There is no reason to have multiple threads to discuss this matter. I suggest if you want to comment on this matter, you keep it in 1 thread, making it easier for everyone interested.
The thread would be:
https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/prob...-feedback.html
By the way, posts that clearly are "post whoring" and are off topic will be deleted with a notice not be required. That's nothing new.
One further comment, not to pick on you, but why didn't you voice your concerns in the above mentioned thread (https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/prob...-feedback.html) before the feature took place?
I admit the feature needs some tweaking, as discussed in that thread.
well I am sorry, but I dont live on this board as it seems others do....and this entire thing is pissing me off to no end.....IT WAS A VALID POST...how about the moderators do their job and redirect posts....like lets say for example....the post asking about how fast a 305 is in the V6 forum?
And yes, I deleted your offtopic post in the v6 forum that hijacked a thread to simply post:
Congrats Red....you now have the required number of posts so you too can enjoy the bounty offered by those that can buy and sell

If such responses are going to continue in this thread, they will be moderated.
If you have a valid concern, voice it in a reasonable manner and allow it to be reviewed. That's what is occurring with the following thread: https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/prob...-feedback.html

Sorry for the uproar and off topic posts, but I do belong to other forums, some i post 10 times a week and others i dont post for months, regardless, I should be able to post in the classified section on any board (i am a member of). I understand this post # requirement is an attempt to reduce scamming but I really think people should be cautious and smart about the deals they make.
