Keep us updated looks like a nice project and can't wait to see what you do to it
ok its been quite a while since ive had any progress on the camaro , ive been putting my truck back together and its been on the back burner.last week i came across an 87 rs with a blown motor for 500 ,it had all the ground effects and interior i wanted as well as a working steering column! so i picked it up
this new car got me going on my camaro again and ive been putting in some wrench time
got the column apart tightened the damn tilt bolts that had come loose then swapped over anything that was in better shape in the cockpit
well its been a while since my last update
was out of work for 3 months which put a damper on my budget for this car. im back to work on the car now , im moving to bodywork now stripping the paint, fixing some blemishes
and getting it into primer while the weather is still mild here in NE
florida
This was the task today. This split in my front bumper, using the bondo bumper repair epoxy
Drilled ( pinning ) holes and used the screen provided on the back side
Last I looked, Bondo is a subsidiary of 3M. Potentially that may make it a better product line. In theory anyway. 3M's bumper repair products work OK, but from the few projects I've attempted with it, everything has to be perfect and in some cases it's not the most structural repair.
How bad was the windshield removal? Did it come out in one pice? I've gotta pull mine eventually.
well mine was already broke pretty bad so it was a matter of getting inside and pushing with my feet like a idiot probably not a good idea but it worked

true it did come out better than I thought but If it doesn’t hold up I’m prepared do buys new bumper
ive heard Norton speed grip is a good option to fix cracks in these bumpers
