The rain is really coming down over here. Any word on the Humble area?

 

raining here too. We've still got 3 hours though. With weather like this, most of the other cars (non-thirdgen) will NOT be there. All nice weather this week and now this.

Who knows...it might pass. I checked yahoo weather and they said that it'll be clear around midnight....grr.

 

A few minutes later (And I mean FEW) the rain is gone! Just a lotta thunder and not much rain. I'm still gonna show. And my91rs...that catalytic converter will be in the backseat. I just went and found it in the garage - one flange had a bit of surface rust on it and I cleaned it off with a grinding wheel and buffer. You'd get more surface rust if it was on the car for a month. Nothing serious.

Who's still gonna make it? Scared of the rain?

 

The show is off. No HTGA tonight. Nobody should drive in this weather, it's not safe.

I'm also off next weekend...maybe then? If you've got interest in it - post it. Otherwise, have a nice 2002-2003 school year - I'll no longer be in the SWMG area. Have a nice day.

 

Looks like I wont be making it. I dont know how to get ahold of My91RS to tell him I wont be at McD's to meet him on the way.

If you see this, call me at 936-447-1685 and ask for Adam. Otherwise...I guess I'll go to Mc D's at the right time and let him know noone is going.

Agreed. Another time. I'm supposed to meet my91rs anyway - selling him a catalytic converter. What side of Houston is he on? No sense in driving through the rain across Houston to look at a Catalytic converter. If it's light enough though...maybe it's worth it.

 

I guess I'm glad its off. I read it Aug. the 4th. Guess next time I'll pay closer attention.

Another reason its good it was canceled, my shifter cable broke.

 

Well, I went anyway last night...just to see if anybody tried to come. my91rs never showed up...I wonder what happened to him?

Results: Riceroni patrol driving through the parking lot and some guy in an s10 with a sub. The place was empty. Only thing close to thirdgen was some guy that pulled up in a 4th gen z (and never got out) and started reving his engine. Apparently, some truck heard it and reved back on the way through the parking lot....boy what a race that would be
