Calling all central OK thirdgeners....
I just found this board after over a year on these boards!
Anyways, I just wanted to see how many Oklahomans are up in here, and if any meets ever go on, like at Thunder Valley or anything.
As for me, I'm a sophomore at OU (previously went to Carl Albert in MWC).
Roll call!

BOO OU! I'm just kiddin' man...I'm here in Stillwater going to OSU. Camaro is in Tulsa though. The only club I know about is in Tulsa ( the Tulsa Camaro and Firebird Club) they're online, can't remember the site exactly. Oh, BTW, I look forward to the game this saturday!

Anyways, are there never any gatherings around here? I'd like to get involved. Ever meet at Thunder Valley? Just got my car running the way it's supposed to, I'd like to run it a few times before I start modding it out.
Unfortunately, I've never been to the track, and I'm sure it's closing for the season, so even if I made it in time, I'd prolly lay down some crappy times. It's performing much better than stock for just some simple free mods and full exhaust - it feels like 13's (in comparison to other cars), which is a big step up for me after the crappy first year I've had with this car.
Anyways, I'm babbling, but if anybody decides to meet around here, I'm game!

I'd be willing to start a meet somewhere...once my car is running consistently. I've never been a part of anything w/3rd gens so it'd be cool to meet and talk/show/race.

Is there a track out there, like in Tulsa? You know what would be awesome? Putting a meet together and hiring Ed Wright to come out for the day and show us tuning tricks and stuff. That would be freaking awesome. We're lucky to have him in state.

What's your name man? (I guess you could PM me if you didn't want to put it here...)
I've never seen your car before so it must be semi-new to you or you must be a couple years behind me at least.... I graduated '02 but my bros are still there.
I also noticed that you've got a LOT of posts and have been registered a couple years already. That's a lot of thirdgen experience for someone in high school! Did you transfer and are a senior or something?
