Dyno / New Shop Open House in Keller May 22nd w/doorprizes

A long time mechanic friend of mine is having an open house on Saturday May 22nd of his new shop and Dyno he just installed. Open house will be from 10am-2pm with a live Rock&Roll, Backlash, band to follow at 2:30 - 5pm. Backlash is one of DFW's hottest cover bands of 70's - current hard rock. www.backlashrocks.com
The shop is in Keller at 3015 Keller-Hicks Rd., A&S Automotive & Motorsports.
There will be hamburgers and hotdogs and drinks, lots of doorprizes including some dyno pulls, hats, shirts, $100 off bedliner, fender covers, and many other automotive items as he has several sponsors including O'riley Auto-parts.

Will have several cars on display as well.

Dyno pulls will be $50 for 3 back to backs this day only.

To get there from I-820 in Ft. Worth, take I-35w north to Golden Triangle/Keller Hicks Rd exit, come to stop sign which is Golden Triangle and turn right,go to 1st left which is Old Denton Road and turn left, turn right at next street which is Keller Hicks Rd,we are approx 1 mile down on left at 3015 Keller Hicks.

Any questions post here or call Scott Whitehorn at 817-431-3150

Come by and check out his shop and Dyno, and possibly win something like a dyno pull, hang out and watch folks dyno run, or just kick back and jam with the band and drink a few cold ones.

This is meant to mainly be an "open house" rather than a full "dyno day", you are welcome to have a car dyno'd but he could give better pricing when several people or a group signs up to have multiple cars dyno'd. This will be a meet and greet, Scott would like to just introduce people to his shop and let him know he's there. There will be free food and softdrinks, and door prizes, so its not meant to be a discounted dyno day although $50 is not bad. Other shops on dyno day they get you on and off as quickly as possible and charge you $35 with little or no time for tuning in between.
The music will be great if you like 70-80 Rock and Roll, I've heard this band before.
Not to mention, Scott is one of the best LT1/LT4 builders/tuners around if your planting an LT1 in your 3rd gen. He did the LT4 motor in my truck.
Come on out, and bring a six pack if you like.

Wow, looks like that did stir up alot of folks, couple of folks copied the post over to there. Hopefully alot of folks will come out and meet others. Not many mechanics I'd trust with my cars, and I met Scott several years ago and would trust him with anything after meeting him, he definitely know his stuff and is very reasonable, and a good person to call when you just can't figure something out or just plain get lazy and don't want to fix something. I used to never let anyone touch my cars to work on them, now I don't care if Scott does.

One thing I noticed today, Keller-Hicks Road does not have a street sign on it, when you make the right turn off of Old Denton Rd., but it will be the first right you can make once on Old Denton Rd.
