We will be there regardless if my IROC is running--we may be there in Mrs. Zap's 87 RS, but we will be there.

I am planning on coming if I can get this inspection sticker matter sorted out. If I do you can bet that I will be there and as soon as I find out for sure I will sign up for some food to bring.

The only actual address I have is for the park office which is a couple miles away from where the actual pavillion is where we are meeting.

3535 War Memorial Drive
Houston, Texas 77084

Below is a link to the Bear Creek Park website. There is an MSN maps link to the park on left towards bottom.

For those of U who remember Darrell (406-Z) and/or have been asking about him, here's part of the e-mail I got from him this morning. He is back living in the Hou. area these days.

"I will try to make it. The date is on my calendar. I hope the weather is good that day or as always the car won't see the rain."

Cool about Darrell !! Good undercover work!

Any word on Fatal88?

I will be there (weather permitting of course).

We need to reiterate the rain date to everyone.

If it rains on Jan.01 , the rain date will be the following Saturday (Jan.08 ).

Pray for good weather!

To those meeting me at my shop (to cruise to the gathering).....
Please be here at my shop no later than 1:00pm. We'll be rollin' at 1:15.

Mike (1bad91Z)

Well, I may not haave my IROC there, but will be there for sure in Mrs. ZAP's 87 rs.

I'm puling the heads today and sending them to the machine shop--damaged something at Sealy last weekend. Also going to send the injecters out to be serviced while the car is down.

Hope I can get away with minimal repair to the heads. I still am planning on upgrading the heads to some AFR alum. heads, but can't afford it now. If the heads are damaged that might cost some big money, I will probably go ahead and do the upgrade instead of spending money to replace the iron heads., but may have to wait until I have the money.

Also, fried the posi the at the same time. Mikeee--doing the samr thing that yours was doing at HMP when we had our match race. Left side is just not pulling any more.

Yea, I figured it out. When the car hooks, it only spins one wheel. When it doesn't (like on the street), it spins both. Time for a 12-bolt moser!!

Don't waste your time and money on those heads. Just save up for a decent set and bolt them on.

Mike

Well, by an unoffical quick count, there looks to be about 20 people12 to 15 cars so far. I know of probably 4 , 5 maybe 6 others that don't post here that should be there. And there is usually a handful that just show up, so it's looking pretty good so far!

CAN'T WAIT!!!

Oh yeah--the heads are off my car and going to the shop Wed and injecters are going out to be serviced, so I seriously doubt My IROC will be there! But I will be there!

Somebody go out to the Woodlands show and pass out some flyers!!!

Think there is going to be a Woodlands show with this weekend being Christmas? If my car is running by then I'll head up there, but not sure if I'll have everything finished.

If I had a spare man, it'd be in your hands. I had to trade my old v6 cluster, my v8 cluster and $80 smackaroo's to get this thing.

Even though I won't have the IROC there, I'm looking forward to The gathering tomorrow--come rain or shine!

Everybody please refresh your memory for your food commitments.

My cell phone # is 713-823-7019--if U need to call for directions or whatever reason. Even though it says 2 pm, I plan on TRYING to get there about 1 pm.

20N!N--reminder to bring the sign up sheet so we can get updated contact info for everybody.

Does anybody have any thing that could be used for "nametags" like we did last year? It sure helped knowing who we were talking to!

Don't forget your cameras, camcorders, ETC.

C U Sat.

Craig
