WTB Rust Free Camaro Rolling Chassis

I am looking for a rust free rolling chassis . I dont really care what it's missing as long as it rolls and has a clean title and no rust. Please respond with info and price. I live in deep south texas so the closer the better. Thanks.

What area? Dallas? Houston? San Anotonio? From how far away? Pretty sure there are a couple in the Austin area that I know of. Probably more complete than you want though. Pretty sure something could be arranged (stripping it) on one, at least.

Camaro or Bird preferred? Interested in parting out a more complete chassis? If so, the options are more open.

Check ebay from time to time... I just found one in Houston last week. LINK I'll probably keep this one and junk my 91Z since the more I work on it, the more rust I find.

Well its because I have a 89 rs camaro already but the the floors are shot so I figured if I could get a decent roller cheap I could make a nice car out of the 2. It was just an idea but if it doesn't work out I guess i'll have to learn how to work with rusted metal the hard way. I live about 5 min from Mexico in the Rio grande valley so I'm sure everything will be far away but it I figured it was worth a shot. A T-top car would be a plus as well. Thanks.

Well, it's still not a bad idea, if ya don't mind cutting, welding, and bodywork, the Bird parts wil fit, except for the front and rear fenders, hood, etc. Obviously not the inner bumper supports.

Doors, roof, and floors would interchange.

Sounds like you are barking up the same tree as I am. I'm getting tired of repairing rust every time I work on a new part of my car. I'll either do like you mentioned and cut up the one I just bought to fix mine or I will strip my Z28 down and transfer all the Z stuff over to the RS.
A couple of weeks ago I started to a brake job on the rear of my Z and noticed the paint on the rear fender flares was cracked, so I took a wire grinder to it. It was bondo. I guess I won't really know how much of it is filler until I start taking it all off.... If you do try to deal with the rust, I'd recommend Zero Rust LINK It's like POR15, but easier to work with because once you open the can, you can save the rest without it ruining and it is not as toxic to work with.
