Hey guys, I'm in Vero Beach here and want to get a dialog going between all TGO members in this area. It'll be for track days, events, stuff like that. Ideally I'd like to know, from the top of west palm, to say.. cape canaveral, who's around.(this'll include as far west as Okeechobee) If you are more South or North and don't mind the drive to meet up, feel free to post.
Stand up, sound off, and post an e-mail and where you are. I will e-mail everyone who posts to try and get a directory going.

P.S. this would help for car pooling for those in the middle of projects, or just plain down, that want to come along and just enjoy the races.

I'm glad someone started one of these, hopefully it will become something. Be cool to get something as simple as a weekly meet in a parking lot somewhere at first...I have 92 Camaro and a 89 Formula 350.

Some locals to talk to! Well Im not exactly local to you guys... But close enough.

I usually go with a friend to a you pull-it down in WPB, but now he has a kid on the way. So now all I have is classes, and Im losing my mind. So if any of you guys need help at a you pull-it or some help with your car, let me know! I am so bored, and I need to work on a Camaro, but I cannot afford to work on mine, so I will help you with yours. And of course I mainly want to chill with people who are into the F-Body scene!

I am trying to get my bird up and running enough to drop by main campus and see how Stiles' Camaro is coming along...plus I need to get some miles on the new motor rebuild before she sits too much longer. When I get closer to that Ill let you know...might have to run by a you pull it yard for some things by that time anyway.

 

Well let me know if you need some help death... I dont know who Stiles is, probably an instructor, Im not taking any auto classes so I wouldnt know. But Id like to. BTW: where are you death?

I havent been there in years...they used to be alright, but nothing to brag about then either...

 

I went there and found a set of T-Tops that were in poor shape. Missing the rubber on one of them, slightly scratched. The trim needed repainting. He wanted 50 each for them, I told him no way and he wouldnt budge....

I left them there. Bought a nice set off E-Bay for a comparable price.

 

Fort Lauderdale here, too. I know it is a bit south, bt I pass through the area regularly on my way to Daytona...

 

At this rate, we'll take far south as the Keys! Whats that so far...5 of us?

Yup, I've been thinking about printing a flyer or some type of business card with the site info on it and dropping on any F-bodies I see around.

 

Good idea... I should do the same here. Ill sit on it. Let me know what you do. Ive been thinking about putting a window decal, like find a shop that will do it custom.. I have alot of ppl looking at my car, (red stripes and all) so I think it would get noticed. We just have to keep this thread going. If you know anyone who will do the decal cheap, let me know.

I like the vinyl sticker idea, been thinking about getting a Third Gen.org sticker myself.

whats up guys, me and my brother are both fbody guys. Hes got a 89 Firebird with a 2.8 L, and Im currently in the process in buying a third gen camaro with a 5.7. Anyways, just thought Id drop in and say whats up. We live in Lantana, Fl which is about 10 min south of west palm beach. I am on the west coast of florida. I havent been able to find much over here.
I have a 1984 camaro 2.8 liter (for now).
I just wanted to say hello.
I get over to Ft Lauderdale once and a while to hit the junkyards.

 

I'm going to bring this one back from the dead...just for grins. I've since finished my '89 T/A and sold it...gotten another bird, but it's a '93, and have a pretty bad condition '88 T/A I'm back on forth of what to do with. Anyway, just seeing if maybe anything changed in the Treasure Coast, Palm Beach, etc. area as far as f-body owners goes since 2006 :-p
