Anyone know where some JYards are. Looking for you pull its only. St. Lucie Martin Okeechobee and other counties. I keep going to the same ones in Palm Beach - ABC - The one next door - Atlantic. Anyone know of any others?

Salerno road in south Stuart has a yard Salerno auto salvadge Okeechobee has two if I remember correct.

 

There are a couple junkyards around my area. Not a whole lot of third gens though. It also seems like they charge alot. Some of their prices were

take 95 to 595 west get off on 441 south, stay in right lane, u will see u pull it on ur right, they have alot of camaros and firebirds

 

85 camaro florida car bought new by a auto mechanic.
drives great - newer paint few dings etc. front pass side fender alittle bend on bottom and paint peal on front bumper corner. ice cold a/c.
I was gonna put my 350 in it but have too many projects and like my 2nd gen better.The 2.8 crossfire in it runs decent right now but seems to have piston slap. This car has been very well maintained has 138,000 miles. underneth of car is clean paint, NO rust at all never in accident nice staight body. interior is good for a 20 yr old car driver sear seperating on side allittle and top of rear seat. small cracks between vents and windsheild on dash. carpet and rest real nice engine and compartment is clean. would make a nice car. car is in florida but I'm going to michigan in a few weeks and could get a trailer and transport it. my email : xrmperformance AT gmail.com Location: florida Mileage: 138,000

 

45th street in Vero Beach has 3 or 4 with a few self service yards I frequent every once in awhile...

The one in Salerno is On Snake Road...

Funny, I'm getting tired of hitting these up here and have been considering heading down there, while your doing the same, just opposite

 

Yea, the only one I know of here in Stuart is Snake Road. It lacks a bit in 3rd gen. selection though and most of the cars are immediately ruined for just about anything but body panels maybe because first day out all the doors windows, etc. are opened and they get soaked and mildew nasty. Not to mention the 3rd gen selection in general usually consists of about 6 cars even remotely worth looking at. I tend to browse the classified section on TGO or ebay...as frustarating as ebay can be because theres nothing in the way of junk yards here really. Let me know if you do find anything worth looking into as I like to pull my own parts rather than wait and deal with shipping and searching the classifieds/ebay.

 

Are there any out west? Like he said maybe Okeechobee?

Us Guys around the Treasure Coast should hook one day and take the cars for a cruise together too. I've seen enough third gens running around the area to get something going. We sould start a Treasure Coast F-Body meetup post and see what happens.

No good ones in Okeechobee! I know this very well because thats where I live. They are not U-Pull its and they are pricey. I liked the ones in WPB because they are VERY CHEAP. Not many third gens but when you stop at each JYard, it turns out to be quite a few cars! $20 for fender or rim $35 for a turbo or $15 for a top, you see where im going with this. I even found an LTI ($60) at the one next to ABC! I know where SNAKE is, I pass by it on the way to class (IRCC on Salerno), but I am told they are pricey, so I never stopped by (yet).

595 to 441 south. there will be one light after that u will see a yellow sign thats says u pull it, there some what cheap about alot of f bodys

 

Hmmm... I should check this place out. What is its name/addy? Ill use mapquest. If you go there again soon, could you get me a price check on rear springs - shocks - t-top?

How far down south are you talking? The ones in West Palm or further south?

Make a list of what you need, sure I'd give you a hand...I've been promising my cousin I will take him soon anyway. I work all week, so unless I can take an afternoon off one day, the best day for me is usually Saturdays.

It depends on if it was sold/given to them with a title. If it was, they may sell it with a title, otherwise I'm sure they would still sell it complete...or as complete as it sits at the time with a bill of sale for parts or something.

 

Heading to U-Pull-It in Davie tomorrow! Seems like they have great prices!
