If I buy it, . If I let it go, I'm REALLY . If I buy it, my husband will be very, very . If I buy it and give it to him, he'll be upset, but happy.

GAAAAHHHHH!!!! WHAT DO I DO?! I'm pretty sure that's just frost on it. But for the price.... WHO CARES?! Dammit. God, I'm so stupid. I want the damn car. I don't NEED the damn car...but I WANT the damn CAR!!!!!

I say go look at it first before you decide whether to buy or not. You can find a car in better shape for cheaper than what you'll end up paying in parts/repairs for that car.

Yeah, my intention is to look and see if it can be a parts donor...either that or keep it a daily driver until it DOES die. My TA may be my first restore, but I know Pontiacs. My Dad worked for them for 25 years and taught me a lot.

Does the car run? It looks like it's been sitting for awhile. If it runs buy it!

Well, it does run, but he won't be selling it. He said that he'd be willing to keep it and fix it if he could find the parts. Sooo....naturally, I led him here. I think he's going to keep it and fix it himself.

UPDATE:
He's still selling it, but I went over and looked when he wasn't home. This thing is a piece of CRAP. Total junk. The body is completely wasted...the interior isn't too far behind.

I also, however, found an 83 TA on Craigslist...guy's asking $400. The body is perfect. Beautiful...no visible rust, good paint. Has ground effects of a Daytona. Blown gasket. Hubby says no... ?!?

This is a unique situation since your husband is saying no to you. Usually it's the wives that put their foot down on the car buying. Howdy from a fellow North Carolinian. I go through Mebane on my way to Raleigh every now and then.

Yeah, well, we kinda have a role reversal. He makes the money, does the laundry, and I handle the cars and mechanical stuff. His favorite phrase is "It's so nice to have a man around the house!"
