Hell if me and RubberD meet up first, then we can meet you gfun at the 50/471 intersection and either cruise down 471, or cruise down 50 to 301, then down.
Probably take all of 30 minutes from Tarrytown.
Let me know guys.

HAHA! Will, we could have some fun on 301 if it weren't for the fuzz...
471 is pretty quiet though. Maybe we could do a "test" of 3.4 N/A vs a 2.8 turbo haha...
Seriously, Ducky, if you wanna meet me and Will somewhere and ride out there, it sounds like fun.

Well, I've got everything else done but the fuel pump. I need a barb fitting and since my Dad is using the truck I have no car to go buy one.

Spark timing is also much lower than it can be, but thats because I lack a knock sensor currently.

I haven't even hit mine with a timing light yet. Plus, the 3.4 balancer has no timing mark, so I gotta mark it out one of these days so I can hit it with the light to see where I can go with the timing. With the cam in it, I might be leaving some on the table as well. I would be curious how the two of ours would compare...

Yeah, seems its off a tad. It was really smoking earlier as it burnt off the paint on the headers. I probably won't be at the meet with open headers, but it won't be quiet either.

Some pics for you guys.
I hated the stupid third stop light, so I got a hatch glass from an '84 (on the cheap!) and put in the LED strip from the spoiler in my long gone '96 altima.
https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/pict...ictureid=48961
Also, I got some of those cheap, flexible LED's from Advance, and put 'em under the dashboard.

I did the tail light right before the 2.8 died, and did the blue interiors stuff right after the 3.4 got running.

Anybody know of anyone with a SBC V Belt Power Steering bracket? The is a real pain in this *** to drive without the power steering hooked up.
I also have a set of Dynomax Bullets on the way.

Nah, if he gets fed up with it again I'll take it off his hands, lol. Have a 455 just sitting on a stand thats just prime for an FI conversion.
As of now mine will still be there, though that can change cause I can't keep my foot out of it with the cracked flexplate haha.
My father will also be with me.
Any time between 4-430 pm till whenever.
Hey Gfun, pm me your number so me and Rubberbarbie can meet up with you in Tarrytown for the ride down.

LOL. Shoulda heard mine before the turbo, with the muffler mounted in the catcon, with NO pipe behind it. At 2100rpms the radio wasn't loud enough. And thats with a system lol.
Never do that again, though I was thinking about a glasspack behind the muffler. That will at least make the exhaust legal lol

Power steering going on tomorrow, going to diagnose the fan problem tomorrow as well. Seems like I still have a drain on the battery as well.

Re: Official Tampa, FL Area Thread
Mufflers will be here today. I need to pick up a power steering pump I ordered from Autozone today, get that installed, fix a fuel leak on the return line on the mech pump. And figure out my fan wiring. After all that is done I just need to let the car run to make sure the temp sensor works, and let it burn off all of the paint on the headers.
My fan wiring is like this:
Power coming from junction block to a fuse to the relay then to the fan plug
Ground on fan plug is grounded to the body
the two small wires on the relay are grounded to the body
Any suggestions on what I need to do with it? Will gave me some ideas on testing the fan its self. Going to try those tonight but I believe the fan works, it did before I pulled it.
If all goes will I will be driving it into work tomorrow and getting exhaust installed during lunch. If not, I might be late to the meet lol.

SO. Saturday, Saturday!
All I gotta do is top off the tank, and clean out the car.
You guys still down?
I'm looking forward to seeing these other beasts in person!

It might just be that its cold and the carb hates me. I'll add in that 12v wire tomorrow and I gotta cut up my hard line to make a whole new line for the power steering. I messed up and ordered the wrong muffler size, so I'm stuck getting a flowmaster I have put on.

on my fan, i wired it to the cigarette lighter for power, and put the switch where it used to be. I kept the ground wire for the fan in place, and used the hot from the cig lighter through the switch.
If it's any consolation, mine HATES cold mornings until the engine warms up, then it runs like a champ. Sorry to see ya wont be making it, maybe next time.
