For some reason I dont think its your starter. is your batter just dead, sometimes it will have enough juice to run your lights and all but not start your car. go to autozne and have them charge it. also get your alternator tested while there. if it turns out to be your starter i have the one off my 89 formula 350 that would work. i just finished putting another starter in my car about half hour ago. let me know. where do you live?

If it was your starter it would usually make a clicking sound when you try to start it. I would also try the battery first. After that check the nuetral safety switch. Then I would check the power to the starter. Then the starter.

Didnt think about the vats. might have just blown that fuse. its located under yur dash. you have to unscrew thecomputer port or whatever you call it but thatswhere the vats fuse is located.

Do you have a multimeter?
Take your battery out and take it down to AutoZone or Checkers and have them test it. If it's fine then you have a lot more work to do, if it's not, replace it and you should be good to go.
I'll pm you with a couple other things.
