This is my engine after I polished the intake, runners, and a few AC lines.

Looks good....wash the rest of the engine bay, clean up that rubber intake boot, and get a new coolant reservoir (~$12) and she'll be lookin' real good!

i just sanded that stuff w/ 100 and then went to 2000 in about 7 or so steps... then used mothers aluminum polish. i usually ahve the rest of the black stuf clean,but i havent done it cause sanding the metal stuff makes a mess and i still have more to do.

u end up taking the runners off?
hmm.. lol.. i remember takign forever on the frame on the r6, i got this 1 liquid stuff that u put on a dremel/wheel.. suppose to cut time down alot.. going to try it out on the alt here soon.
