Anybody up for one??
How about we cruise down toward Tucson and meet our Tucson brother somewhere halfway. Throw a few burgers on a grill and tip back a cold one or two.

I'm game. THere appears to be a couple of parks not far from the highway about 1/2 way between the 2 cities. Maybe we get together and go scout out the locations this weekend?

Ehh... test & tune.. well, I hate to admit it, but judging by Ominous's video of his 113mph pass, SIR is far more active than Firebird.. anyway, I'm game, and I vote for 'In Tucson' since I'm a tad more than halfway from casa grande

I might actually be able to make it out to SIR this time if we go. If not, I think Sat. may be a good day to meet someplace.

I won't be making it either way. My car is making some "not so" funny noises from the block. So until I can figure it out, my poor baby is not going anywhere.

I've been to Tucson 4 times. The last BBQ the Tucsonians stepped up in a HUGE way and provided food, but I would rather not drive all the way to Tucson, again. If ya'll can't even meet us halfway, poo poo on you. It's called a cruise for a reason.
If there are enough people that like twisties, then I would STRONGLY recommend going up to Prescott for breakfast as a cruise idea and leave the Tucsonians to their drag racing and never straying more than 10 miles from home...

Nice. Well you guys can go to Prescott and we can go up into Mt Lemon for a break from the heat. Does anybody know how far we can go up now without hitting construction?

oh man Az is segregating into north and south...sound familiar? We should have an AZ "civil war" except actually fighting make it north vs. south at the track. I would totally be willing to help organize something like this for say fall or so?

Chalk up another one for the "strange engine noise" crowd. Hopefully I'll have it apart this weekend, and if I find it to be a problem that requires yanking the manifold I'll probably just send it to a shop, I'm sick of seeing the lifter valley of a 305

Tucson people.....I just took a trip up mount lemon yesterday. Wow, that thing is burnt to hell! Not sure how far up you can go, but I went up a little past the 7 falls lookout point and didn't see any kind of restrictions or roadblocks in sight. So much trees lost up there, its amazing.

Mt Lemmon closes down about 2 miles from summerhaven. Maybe 3. Closes at 9am and opens back up at 4 i think. The road going past the construction is no where for our cars to be unless you dont like your exhaust and want to rip it out for cheap lol. When you get up to the trees its not really all the bad, alot already growing back at the tops.
I was just there about 3 weeks ago for work up at the fire station. They already rebuilt it.

Hi guys!
I'm sure that alot of you guys are young, but have any of you ever thought of having a river run up at the Casinos in Laughlin?
Man, there are car functions almost every weekend! Vipers, Prowlers, Model A's, PT Cruisers, Corvettes, the list goes on!
This might be a good idea to invite other areas to go as well! SoCal, Neveda, heck, make it all yearstoo if you want!
This weekend is the Harley River Run, with about 60,000 predicted to show up!
Next weekend, is the Route 66 here in Kingman!
Any of you ever go to that?
I just moved here, so I am only going by what I see so far!
I would love to meet up with some of you guys soon, but I have alot going on here, with the local shows, and all the unpacking and organizing!
With a river run, you can gamble as well! But, like I said, alot of you guys may not quite be of age.
Just throwing something out there,
George

Sounds good to me. I would go for something like that. Our biggest problem seems to be getting everyone all on one page.
But everyone has their own life to live, so we just do what we can when we can.
