L69 305 engine wanted.....

Looking for a real 83-86 L69 305 engine for my 84 TA. Preferably an original with no known rebuilds. I think the LU5 "CFI" engines are the same...except for induction. But Ill take what I can get. Let me know what ya'll have. THX

I had an 84 TA with a 305 parted out the car and sent it to the wrecking yard it was from Nebraska and full of rust so I pulled the engine and drivetrain. But I rebuilt the 305 and thru it in my 85 Z28 it has less than 100 miles on motor. I am getting ready to sell it.

Let me know how much you want for it. As long as it is a real L69. Can you list the numbers and the suffix codes off the block? BTW, where are you located? I am up around 75th ave and Union Hills. How soon would you be ready to sell it?

I wish we had of talked a couple months ago when it was out of the car getting done. I could have gotten the codes alot easier then but I will get them this weekend. I am around 16th St. and Camelback. Now are you wanting the whole car or just the engine. Cuz the car is for sale now I am asking 3500 OBO.
The interior is in great shape plus its black which everybody wants

What about ECU and wiring. I really just want to get rid of the whole thing. But if i can get a buyer for the rest I might be willing to do that

If you can wait a little while, i'm gonna be picking up a daily driver (hopefully) on sunday. I'll start tearing the 305 out of the T/A sometime after that.

I know of an 85 L69 with a blown headgasket in El Paso. It put down 230hp on the dyno a while back on stock cam & internals. Might be able to get it brought back this weekend if you get back to me fast, but it'll take a couple phone calls.

Yeah, let me know how much you want for it though. Is it a good motor other than the head gasket?

Back from the dead, lol. Does anybody else actually have a 305 they are willing to part with? I need a motor ASAP.

You might be able to find an LO3 or a later LG4 that you could put an L69 cam into.
