I NEED to get rid of my 91Z

I want to get rid of my car

1991 Z28 5.7 automatic 174,000 miles about 50,000 miles on re-done motor. Minor dent on driver side rear panel clearcoat is starting to peel on a couple of areas, tranny is almost gone. Has 3.73 gears, Accel intake manifold, ported heads mild cam 1.6 roller rockers, and new catalytic converters. The car was unable to pass last smog due to bad EGR and catalytic converters. Since replacement of EGR and catalytic converters the tranny started to fail and was not able to get it smogged or re-registered. The car will pass smog if tuned but I just wasn’t able to so I want to get rid of it now. Too much money for me to put into the car to make it fun again. Small tear on driver seat, no headliner, need to put the plastic interior parts back into the rear of car, the original wing on the back and hood blisters need to be put back on.

What do you guys think its worth, or if anyone is interested in a project car.

These parts are on the car now but I am going to sell separately Suerram intake and runners, 58mm BBK throttle body Accel DFI with software and piggyback harness. The manifold will stay on the car since it is port matched to the heads.

I also have another 350 block (4bolt) and PST suspension parts for the car.

I have some pics of the car.

Scott

If you are serious about selling it then I would put it back to stock form as much as possible and sell it, that also includes taking off any bolt-ons as long as you still have the stock parts. Then I would judge the value for yourself, look on both ebay and autotrader. It's worth exactly what someone will pay you for it

Not so much how much is it worth, its more of a question of how much you want for it.

If you put it back to stock I would say $2500 in it's current condition. if you smogged it and replaced the interior items that are missing I would say about $3000.

Is that with the engine stock? if so with a trans out registration may not be to bad but.. 180k.. I say he should be able to part the parts out.. And make more than that.. Put the car back stock.. Sell it for what it is worth..

First thing I noticed. The car is missing the 91-92 Z28 spoiler and hood louvers.
