just registered! got a 89 firebird formula tpi auto, nothing special. Its super clean inside but needs a paint job which is coming soon, next will be an lsx t56 combo. I will get some pics up soon

I'll get some up with the new wheels, but its gonna be till tomorrow the camera is at home. Its a 5.0 TPI A4, slow as hell but I love that thing. Some thing about the third gen that I just like way too much

 

Is that the Firebird that was for sale over on www.ls1tech.com I seem to remember seeing that car there.

 

yeah awhile back, I decided a while back that theres no way I'll get even close to what I have into it back so might as well keep it. I'm carbonfiberbird.

 

nice congrats on keeping it. I was the same way with my 85 z28 so i pulled motor and trans installed in a vert i recently picked up and parted my car out. Made more that way then people would give me for the entire running car and i got to keep the motor and trans

 

the good thing about my situation is that I'm glad to keep it and fix it up, I know the third gens are gonna be classics

I think you are right, but at 62 I won't live long enough to see it happen. They are a lot of fun to drive now, though
