Recommended Engine shops in SoCal
Recommended Engine shops in SoCal
Hey everyone,
I'm getting ready to undertake the ambitious project of doing an LS1 swap. I'm saving up for the funds and am going to do this project, one way or the other. With that said, is there anyone that can recommend a great shop that does engine swaps if I supply all the parts (thats including the engine and transmission). The budget I'm gonna be on I'm hoping between buying the parts and the overall work is hopefully no more than $10,000. I'm in SD, howver I'm willing to take the car up to Oceanside, POSSIBLY Anaheim if its worth it. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Top notch work from theses guys but I'm sure they are way too busy to take on a swap like this. At least 6 weeks behind(LSx business must be good)

Sounds good. This LS1 swap is on my Top 3 list for my car. I'm going to start buying the parts here and there starting in November, buying the cheap(er) items first, working my way up to the engine itself. And I appreciate the inputs for the businesses. This is going to help out a lot.

Dyno Don doesnt work on LS1 engines. He sticks to TPI engines and other Gen 1 small block chevy's.
