just did front brakes and car still pulls
i just did front brakes on my IROC and it pulls to the right even more than it did before. i replaced the hoses, cailpers, rotors, pads and bearings and it still does it. what else could make my car do this.

I suppose the left hard line could be clogged. Since that's the shortest and easiest to replace, you might think about it.

Hey ...
Under braking your wheels stop ..then all the force goes through the suspension to stop the car .. check your lower ball joints and lower A frame bushings .... then tie rods , center drag link , pitman arm , idler arm .. that's about the whole thing :\

How bad is the pull? If it's minor, I'd say to try and re-bleed the brakes. Did you let the master cylinder run dry? When I changed my front hoses years ago, I almost let the reservoir run dry... nearly freaked out. I was watching the frontmost reservoir, then I looked at the one closest to the firewall, and it had 1/8" left of fluid in it- oops! I dove for that bottle of fluid so fast I'm surprised I didn't trip over anything on the floor.

You might want to check the rear brakes, since it's an IROC, and you didn't specify, you could likely have disc brakes(drum brakes not adjusted could also do it), which are known to be problematic. Try getting a nice patch of asphalt, and locking the tires for a short distance(less than 1 ft, bascially, as soon as you hear squeal) and then check the patches and see if one or more of the tires is the only one locking up, then check that wheel. Alot of times, rear brakes cause a 'pull' more than you think they would.

Hmm seems to be a popular problem for thirdgens. I'm going to replace all the hoses on mine with braided hoses and see if that helps. I'm afraid to drive mine in traffic because it pulls hard when I brake and I know I'm gonna wreck eventualy if I don't fix it.

It is a common problem, but 90 times out of 100, replacing the hoses works, and 9 times out of 100 replacing the calipers fixes it. The original poster in this thread did all that already...
