on my 92 rs, i took it in for an alignment, and they said that the idler arm has play in it and the tie rod ends are bad and the sleeves are rusted

does someone make replacements for these that are better than gm's parts-performance or drivability wise?
also is there any other parts that i should replace while im in there?
thanks for the help

Moog parts are the only way to go on a rebuild. They are far better peices than anything else you can find, a little more costly but well worth it it the long run.

Yeah I was looking at that front end kit. It seems to be a good deal. Is spohn good with delivery though How reliable are they? I think I may go with that. You guys have good luck with it?

Actually.......if you want Moog parts, it's cheaper to buy 'em from www.rockauto.com

The kit from Spohn is $342 BEFORE shipping.

ALL the same parts, MOOG brand, from RockAuto is $310.93 SHIPPED.

Hey, it's only $40, but $$$ is $$$

I checked out that link. But do they have a whole kit like the Spohn? Or would you have to order each part individual? I didn't see any kit listed or maybe I missed it? I am up for saving $40.

There is no kit. You just have to piece it all together yourself.

You have to order each piece...
Simply click on your car make, model etc, then pick parts. The majority of all the parts you need are listed under STEERING....check suspension for the balljoints.

You need the following for a complete rebuild -

- Idler Arm
- (2) Lower ball joints
- (2) outer tie rod ends
- (2) inner tie rod ends
- Centerlink
- (2) tie rod adjusting sleeves
