pulls to the right
pulls to the right
Last summer I put on some ZR1/SS wheels so I needed adaptors in the front (got them from www.skulte.com) and with those wheels I got wider tires (from 225 to 255). Well now every time it put the brake on the car pulls to the right. With out the brake on it drives perfectly straight. Any ideas??

I have this same problem.. with mine, I need to rebuild the calipers. I think they are leaking... it could also be the rubber brake line. Those are two possibilities.. mine is so bad that if I hit the brakes doing anything above 40, it will try to shoot the car into the next lane. So I always have to compensate for braking... little rough on the tires, but I'll get the problem fixed one of these days.

TZF, yeah, that's definately a collapsed brake line. The offending line is the one -opposite- the direction your car shoots for. Reason is that a clogged line delays brake fluid to the caliper- but the "good" line allows full pressure, so your car yanks to that "good" side.
Replace both at the same time; usually when one goes, the other's not far behind. The Haynes 82-92 Camaro or 82-92 Firebird manuals show you how to do this; it's about $25/hose, $2 for two copper "crush" washers (for the hose-to-caliper connection), and $5 for a huge bottle of brake fluid.
