cost for welding in sub frames?

cost for welding in sub frames?

did a search, then gave up.

what have you guys paid as far as welding in subframe conectors, i found some for 85 bucks, seems a good price, is it?


1. what would a good shop charge to weld sfc's in?

2. is 85$ a good price for sfc's?

85 sounds good... I think I paid around 130 or so for mine... (been awhile) Course they were powdercoated and I had them install my new lca brackets (weld in also) and put some new LCAs on while they were doing it all.

I paid around $300 for the Spohn tubulars to be installed. Labor rates are higher here than in other parts of the country though (SF bay area).

Ouch I would hate to see what they would charge on 8 point roll bar install... Here is only cost me 300 bucks for the install. I helped the guy fishmouth the tubes and he mig'd them in. I did all the interior removal and install myself.

One of the guys here that lives close to me is only gonna charge me welding supplies...

I going do all the prep work... por-15 the area where they gonna go, the guy is getting them powder coated for cheap...

then we're gonna work together to install them.. I like being involved.

so far...

so far i have found it would cost me 180 bucks to get an 85$ pair of sub frames welded on, i think the machine shop said if i used what ever they had it would cost like 210$ for the whole thing so yeah, all depends on how good my new job will pay me, i love subway!mmmmm, good food, good work, heh
