Torque Arm
the one that hooks up like stock? or ones that mounts to the frame?
i have the spohn that uses a new crossmember, which takes the torque arm off the tranny, i definitely put more power to the tires now, still cant hook up as i would like (drag radials would fix that) but has definitely took any flex away and makes the power go to the tires. worth it in my opinion.

I am running a home made torque arm made out of seamless tubing. It mounts to a braket that come off my trans cross member. It has a hyme joint with a bolt going through it. It is mounted to my rear by custom made brackets. The bar is solid mounted to the rear, and solid mounted to the cross member. I thought the stock bar was set up so it could slide back and forth, had some sort a give/ motion that would happed when the rear was planting the tires. I am trying to figure out if I should modify mine so it can move back and forth when I launch/ transfer weight and the rear tries to plant.
Theres more to making these cars hook than just installing an aftermarket T/A. After all this car still uses the Stock Stamped Steel Piece.

Please go into some detail please. My best 60ft. is in my sig. I am also running seamless tubing lower control arms that are adj. back and forth. I have welded in sub frames, and am in the process of installing a 8 point cage. Please go into some detail on your suspension.
Rear is a bolt in 9in from Moser with 4.72 gears and 29.5 x 10.5 x15 m/ t et drags. Boxed LCA with Relocation Brackets, Hal QA1 shocks, Stock springs and Stock Torque Arm. There is also a weld in anti roll bar in the rear. The front end is completly stock with junkyard v6 springs.

I have a jegster,it's not adjustable and bolts to the trans/driveshaft tunnel with a mounting plate that comes with it.
So far I've had good luck with it,I run 26x11.5x16 ET Streets on stock wheels all around(and drive them everywhere including to and from the track)and am consistantly in the mid 1.5's on pumpgas and high 1.4's on racegas.

Willing to share a little more info like best ET/60ft?Motor/tranny?With 4.72's and 29.5" tires your 60ft's must be killer,at least considering my best of 1.47 was done with 26" tires and 3.08 gears.Maybe next year when I go to 28's and 3.42 gears I'll get some better 60fts

That belive it or not is how my car launches no matter if I get a 1.47 60ft or a 1.65
