your MC maybe ac delco but it wasn't rebuilt by them or with their parts. if i were looking for good quality brake parts i'd look at wagner. i 've used one auto zone MC and it lasteed and worked as long ( 2 years) as i had the truck it was in.

ac delco makes them, they don't make rebuilt ones. any better parts store might have warner brake parts, not a chain discount place

Ok, a couple of years ago I replaced my master cylinder with an AC-Delco rebuilt one. Well now it is leaking again. Should I get another AC-Delco rebuilt one, or is there a better brand out there? Would an aftermarket one be better, or would I be safe with a $25 autozone master cylinder? Or is this a stay-with-ac-delco-only part?
I would not touch a $25 Master cylinder...brakes are not an area to cheap out on.

Wagner, Bendix, Raybestos all make good products. Buy their NEW products...not rebuilt.

I learnt a long time ago, to NEVER buy rebuilt products when you're dealing with something as critical as brakes. Always buy new....your life is worth it.

Out of those brands, which would you pick?

Do you have any part numbers? I was on partsamerical.com and found some, but I don't know which one to get.

Bendix 12263 $99.88
New; 24mm
1 Year Replacement Warranty

Raybestos MC39575 $139.99
Master Cylinder w/Power:
Lifetime Limited Warranty

Raybestos 2539575 $106.99
Master Cylinder: Raymold
Lifetime Limited Warranty

Raybestos 2539575 $106.99
Raymold Master Cylinder w/Power:
Lifetime Limited Warranty

Which one should I get and what is the difference between all of these? Why so many of the Raybestos?
Disc or drum brakes on the back of your car? All three are top quality...although I prefer Bendix. I'll look things up tomorrow...must get sleep. ZZZZZzzzzzz
