Passenger door Sagg

Help, My pass. Door is making the wind sound at high speeds and I smell stagnant water that seepped in via a car wash. I need to get the door aligned. The space between the fender and the door is pretty obvious. Any sugestions. Is that a job for a body shop?

Hi,
Is the door shuting all the way? Does the door align right with the back of the body? Does the fender and hood align good?

If you are having problems with the door not shuting or door hard to shut then check to see if the upper hinge is bad. You can check the upper hinge by lifting up on the door and if it moves and the car doesn't you need to either replace the hinge or buy that hinge pin kit that andyz28 sells http://andyz28.com/3rdGen/ Those pins at autozone or others are just the lower pins and the lower pins don't fully support the wieght of the door. If this is your problem do a search on door sag.

Be sure you check the price before buying. Prices vary wildly.

Door alignment

Thanks for the info. My hood and fenders align perfectly. Both doors have a larger than normal gap at the fender. Just put on SFC's hope it's not too late. You can see pics at my web site. Already replaced the drivers side pin. Pass side does not seem to sag. It's just off somehow and water is getting in. Any way to re align the doors?

Here's a thread that has some info on how to align the doors. It's the third post down. Hope this helps

One more question: Does the door line up with the ground effects? Or does it leen more torwards the back? I hope that makes sense

Door SAg

One door is rubbing on the ground effects at the rear and one is not rubbing at all. Just that gap at the fenders looks like S&^%. Look at the web site to see for yourself.
