air ride will have a kit soon.........

www.airride.com

as far as prices and products it depends on whom you go with. you could get by on the cheaper level for roughly 1500 in parts with air ride technology...slightly less with chassis tech and air lift. of course this is just using the standard bags all around with the slower valves, smaller compressor, analog gauges, etc.

i really don't care for the strut designs of the other companies but air ride makes a really nice setup with their cool ride kit. if you go with the upgraded version using the billet struts though figure at least a cool 1,000-1200 just for the air struts.

their big red valves are really nice although they are expensive. going with a smaller 1/4 type valve like the ridepro setup will be alot cheaper. there are lots of companies that sell valves though so shop around if your looking to go cheaper. supposedly www.xtremevalves.com. makes a really nice valve that is even faster then the bigred but i'm sure you'd have to pay for it.

you can save alot of money doing the installation yourself as well as picking up as many of the necessary parts from a wholesale place. be prepared to spend some money though. also going 2 way instead of 4 way will save money in valves and line...however the car won't handle as good.

if you really want the fun parts. digital guages, 4 way remote setup, 3/4" capability, fast valves and good electric compressor figure on roughly 1,700 in just parts and then you would need either your bags or air struts.

here are a few more sites to get you going.....

We just put a shockwave kit on my buddies ride from air ride technologies. It uses the strut type bags and it is one of the nicest setups i've dealt with. Whens air ride supposed to be coming out with it?

email me as it would be better...

depends on what you want. for my setup i have coilovers in the front so i will now have a strutbag in place of the strut...i no longer have front springs. for the rears i will have 2500lb bags running 3/4" line to 4 way big red valves with digital touch for control and a wireless remote for show. using a 450 viair compressor and either a 3 or 5 gal tank.

this will allow me full control over the cars suspension as well as a 7" up or down movement. basically i can go as low as my gfx allow me and high enough then i'd really want to. going 4 way allows proper air transfer through the setup so cornering isn't sacrificed and ride control is good over bumps. using struts instead of bags in the front will also take out the swaying around corners and under acceleration.

bags for the rear are no different then springs, raise or lower the pressure for varying applications. i've done alot of research on the setup and driven alot of cars with it, i've never driven a thirdgen yet so i can't really advise on it. however air ride has been willing to work with me and they need a car to build the kit off of so i decided to try it..........we'll see.

Don't mean to bring a thread back from the dead but I am curious to see how the air ride turned out for the third gens. Has anyone put air ride in their third gen since?
