Where to get a four point roll bar?
I've seen the one 84customZ has and it looks great, however its $249 + 100 some what dollars for shipping. Kind of ridiculous when spohn has a 8 point for only 149.99. That tells you some thing
. Basically I want it to stiffen the chassis a bit and be able to run a four or five point harness without bolting the seat belts to the floor with my new racing seats. What other shops carry a four point bolt or weld in roll bar? Thanks.

Thanks. i'd just get the 8 point and whatever you don't want in the car, don't weld in. just having the main brace behind your front seats won't do a thing for the chassy. you'll need the bars going to the trunk and the front floor boards to stiffen the car up. otherwise, on launches the car will still have the pull from the front on the chassy. the main brace will only come into play when going side to side (cornering) jeg's makes a cage that i bought and trimmed up to fit my notch. came out excellent actually.... i can post pictures if desired.

Thanks for the reply, I may do just that if there are no other options. I still want to look for a four point if possible, thanks.

I don't know which bar you are talking about for 250 but does it bolt in? That may be why it costs more.
I put a 6 pt in my car years ago and it did wonders as far as tightening up the car. Also, my car has t-tops and it did alot to cure little creaks and rattles also. Not to mention it looks pretty cool!!! Chicks did it!

Yea its a bolt in. I never understand why them having to drill 16 holes into the roll bar warrants a $100 price increase....go figure

I was thinking about getting that autopower bar also, but I would have gotten it with the slanted bar and harness bar welded in. The reason why it is more expensive is because it is welded together already. The other NHRA style bars/cages are not welded at all, they are just a pile of bent pipes that you have to weld together. Sometimes you will have to cut and notch the bars too.
