rear end swap

installed my posi rear this weekend. Picked it up used for 100.

had my lca relocation brackets welded on and painted it all up. so far a rear easy swap installed my new spohns lca's and adjustable panhard bar. now i am just wainting for my shocks and springs to show up and the rear will be complete. with the exception of the brakes which are coming from baer. It is an easy swap and i would recomend it to any back yard mechanic.

anyone know the pinoin angle? should it be 0 i forget to check it before removal.

Jeff

clean what part? the rear was sanded down and painted and will get a por 15 treatment once it arrives. the backing plate for the brakes will be leaving with the baer replacement coming. what else is there?

What's the purpose of painting it and then POR-15'ing it? POR-15 has no effect if applied over paint. The advantage to POR-15 is that, with the MetalReady stuff, it chemically bonds to the metal...

actuly if you check their web site thay say it is as good on bare metal as painted makes no diffrence whats so ever. i sprayed rustolium to keep it from rusting while i wait for the por to arrive.

the site is down or i'd grab it oh well... its in they faq.
