baer brake swap

Axle/Gears: ones with teeth
baer brake swap

swapping rear disk to 12" baer brakes does the rear axle have to come out to install backing plates or anything like that?

Yes you have to pull the axles to install the backing plates.

They pull out after you unbolt the backing plates.

something needs to be removed inside the punkin most have a c clip i can;t find it in this rear.

Trust me on a 9 bolt thats how you do it i have 1.You just might have to pull kinda hard. A 10 bolt would have c clips.

NP Im converting mine to PBr's it had the ****ty pre 89's also. Just been so busy dont have much time just have to get the earl's lines now and new front pads.

Why don't you just get an LS1 rear? Besides the obvious tire sticking out issue it's easy to find one in good shape with posi and good gears for 1/2 the price of the kit.
