shakin
Recently, only while idleing, I get some minor vibes. They are not severe and they go away with a little throttle. What things could cause this? motor mounts? BTW my tired TBI has near 200,000 miles.

Tires are usually the first culprit. Since the vibrations go away after you hit the gas I would look at those. The tires will shake when they are at their natural frequency. Changing spees to either fast or slower beyond that point will stop the vibrations. That is until speed makes the tire unstable all together. An unbalanced driveshaft will also cause vibrations, but they will increase as speed increases.

I should have been more clear. This only occurs when the the car is stopped and idling. It is definatley engine related. it seems to idle a little more rough than usual, but it's not that bad. The vibes definatly go with the engine idle, if that makes sense.

My RS does that too and it only has 70K on it. I think it might be something with my exhaust or emissions system (pressure, leak, etc.). It is perfectly smooth given a little throttle and the shakin is ever so slight only at idle. I'm not totally sure what it is, but just wanted to give my experience.
