18" Wheelers pls come in!

Is there a company making "fake" 18" rim Corvette sets?
Due to GM 17+18" or 18/19" policy am i forced to buy two rear 18" sets???
Love the Vette wheel style!

what style are you looking for? I think the ones in the pic you posted are TA wheels. Check ebay, i think i saw someone selling 18" ZO6 replicas.

The wheel in the pic is a collectors edition vette rim, powdercoated !
GM never produced a 18" wheel only set for the vette!
Vette rim 18+19" were always mixed!

Check the CHP mag 4th gen ta running the same wheel!

Is there a vendor selling the collectors styl (replika?)in 18" only or do i have to get two rear 18" sets on ebay...pretty tuff cause those wheels are rare at least in europe!

that is not a vette wheel. it's the standard ta wheel for the anniversary but rather anodized black instead of blue. to get that exact rim you'd have to do some work if you want it cheap. it's ashame they didn't make them in 18" for the anniversary ta's.

excuse my ignorance but im a little confused on your question with the wording of your english? the black rim in the picture above is a 17" rim that was offered on the 40th anniversary of the ta in 2002 which came in black. it is not a vette rim of any year. c4 zr1 vettes had a similar style wheel that was offered in 17" that was black like that and came in an optional 11" wide rear rim width.

if you want vette wheels just look up any major oem knockoff wheel company.

search out performancewheeloutlet.com , AAA custom wheels, oeconcepts, etc. type in z06 or y2k wheels on the net and you'll get your fare share of what to look up. with your experience on the 20's with your ta i doubt you'll have a problem making something work.

On the C4 vette the Zr1 rim and the Grand Sport rim(painted black) is the same. The only difference is the offset. I did alot of research on this, I didn't want them to stick out to much.

you have not posted a picture of a vette rim yet in this thread!

the wheel that you have posted is off of a 02 anniversary ta. that wheel is not offered on any vette period. LPE383 what was meant by my wording is that in order to get the particular wheels we are talking about you had to order the GS package on the vette, yes the zr1 wheel is the same at 11" wide and the GS is black.

german-motorsport if you want vette rims look at vette rims and not f-body rims like the one you posted here.

Possibly you were thinking of these. They are 18" black zr1 replicas.

yeah they also had the zr1 in silver and i've seen one in white but the owner had it as an option. either way the zr1 is completely different from the style you posted above. the picture you posted is a standard ws6 17" wheel.

lowbgtRS ......cool !Thats what we were thinking about a vette style wheel and all in 18" !
I´ll asked the guy for the weight of the wheels.....cause i still wonder if the C5 Vette Magnesium wheels are lighter than all other GM 18"rims?

Kandied91z lots of people put 18" rims on there 3rdgens now!
the guy states a :Size: 18x9 1/2" Offset - 56 mm the rearend in the car is a 4th gen rear so would this be a bolt on...or how wide does the 4th gen rear differs from a stocker 3rd gen ?

i take it your not the same german-motorsport that put the 20" crosslace on the gt?

just do a search... yes 18's are dime a dozen on our cars, i've had 3 sets alone.

good luck with it.
