Need technecal measurements on struts

I have given away the two other sets of struts I have had lying around from this car, so I have nothing to make a comparison. I am fair convinced they are pretty much all the same but would like to know for certain.

What I am wondering is if anyone can give me measurements of different strut "Bodies" measuring from the top of the strut body- down to the first spindle bolt (There are two large bolts of course, Please if you could measure to the "center" of the top bolt.

Please list the Strut type and the measurement- all hellp is greatly appreciated

Thank you
Dean

Koni "yellows" are 10 3/8"

Dean, I'll measure mine in the morning. I'd rather not head out to the garage while it is 30 something and pooring down rain.

I have the other KYB GR-2 around here somewhere that hasn't been installed on my car yet. I'll try to get around to measuring it tomorrow.

ok cool, i ask beause i drilled my spindles out to accept a 5/8s grade 8 bolt that was used with my D&D motorsports kit (mustang rack) but now that i am going to back to stock steering i cant run tapered style tie rod ends. so is it possible for me to buy that baer kit and use a 5/8s grade 8 bolt instead of the supplied stud (assuming its tapered for the spindle)?

Original conclusion is about correct then that they are all about the same travel distance to the strut mount.

Thank you everyone.
