Holy Wheel-hop batman!

Well, just got the 3.73's in! Here are the specs

Motive gear
Motive installation kit
Eaton Posi Unit
Moser Hardened axles
Mac girdled rearend cover

Wonderful! Finally got them in... been sitting in the garage for four or five months..

I have some questions tho.. as you see with the post name, I HAVE A ****-TON OF WHEEL-HOP! What all would be recomended suspension upgrades that would help me get the power to the ground? I was thinking about the following:

Spohn Adjustable torque-arm/crossmember
Shocks/struts
Lower Control arms
Adjustable panhard rod
Springs - This is another question.. Im thinking about getting air bags... What kind of effect do they have on getting my tires to hook better/eliminate wheel-hop? What kind of effect do they have on handling? As apposed to Eibach Prokit or Sportlines?

Also, I know my speedo is now off.. I dont have money to grab the speedo gears right now, so i was wondering if someone would know what the difference would be between 2.73 and 3.73.. just so I know what speed I am going until i can grab some speedo gears (couple weeks).

Sorry its so long!

Thanx for the help

Holy calculations Robin! I was at George Barris' auction a few weeks ago
Here's a link that will help you. Tire radius is 12.85. The 700r4 gear ratios are lower on the link page.

lol
actually, thats how i bought it.. The paint is faded/chipped really bad and the cowl hood is just the black gelcoat that harwood sends it in.. The car looks like total hell man, trust me.. and in a few weeks its gonna be all black with blueberry pearl in the clear coat..

i'll help a bit. a set of LCA relocation brackets welded to rear housing will help more than any other single modification. even with stock components. all the other stuff you have listed is good, but the LCA relocation brackets and maybe boxing your stock LCA's would probably do the trick for now. i know how money is tight so.....

I had that problem and replaced stock arms and panhard bar with lakewood products and solved that problem. Spohn torque arm is worth the money(600) in my book. No welding all bolt in stuff.

the relocation brackets work wonders, trust me. here is what i've done to my rear suspension, probably have all of $150 in it:

STOCK torque arm with poly bushing up front
STOCK lca's that i boxed using 14ga steel
spohn non-adj panhard rod
spohn lca relocation brackets.

i have had NO problems with wheel hop and with my 275/60/15 M/T ET Street Radials and 4.10s, traction isn't an issue either, have made several consistant 1.75/1.76 60' times.

edit: spohn lca relocation brackets are only $65...MORE than worth the money in my honest opinion. way cheaper to do it my way than to spend bookoots on tubular replacement pieces. the only reason i did the panhard rod was cause my stock one had been bent. if i had the stock one, i'd have just boxed it in.
