do i sense a little tension? how often do these things break because of these uni directional welds? i personally like the setup with its adjustability and its shock style pivot.
nothing to complain about yet.

The venders who do, just can't post here.

How about a shot of them both on a scale, for a comparison.

LG doesn't make a TA, they do coil-over and a-arms for 4thgens.

UE makes a decoupled for the 4thgen.

GW makes a de-coupled for thirdgens.

Please, at least google things before you post, you look worse and worse everytime you post something. Save yourself and do a simple search at least, and know what other manufactures make what. I'm so impressed to see that our sponsers take so much time to learn what other company's in the industry are making.

At least cop up to the point, that the Spohn stuff does weights a metric ton. No one said anyting about strenght, I just pointed out, that I would like to see a picture of them on the scale, for comparison sake.

(I'm sure that Steve knows what is going on, and in fact I really respsect him, but Kat, you have proven over and over, to post about things you don't understand, and say things that are just plain incorrect.)

Sorry, I thought that it was LG, I remember seeing it about a year ago my memory never has been the best.

Learning other products, umm yeah I dont need to worry about that anymore I've moved on to something better "for me" over at Boeing.

As for the weight of it, how are you going to design something to be stronger than a stock torque arm, but yet weight as light as a peice of stamped steel? That is the point I'm getting at. Yup the BMR one is light most due to the short length of it, (the Spohn 4th gen one doesn't weight all that much, the heaviest part, is the bracket that goes on the rear. )

Its all in the design.

When real engineering is actualy done, you find out where you need material, and where you don't.

Are you saying that you don't thing a TA could be built that light, and still retain the stregth needed perform the torque arms function properly?

Maybe you should ask some of those boeing engineers. the aero-space guys are masters of making things work, while retaining the lightest possible design. Although typicly the FOS in their field, is quite what you would want to design a supsension part to, but that is neither here nor there.

Just our curiosity, what exactly are you going to be doing at boeing?

I'll be the low man on the todem pole either putting the Chinooks or the V22 together. I'm kinda torn in which way that I want to go.

Thats not a bad idea asking around to see waht the guys have to say over there. Either that or take advantage of their program that pays for you to go to college and get another engineering degree, but this time in mechanical instead of networking.. lol
