track bars?
I just wanted to make sure I am correct on this before I buy parts. The two bars in the rear of the car (one is straight, the other is at an angle), these are the track bars correct? If not, what are they and where can I get after market replacments (better ones). While doing my engine swap, I removed the to take out the gas tank, and I noticed that they were bent, so I would like to replace them.

Many manufacturers make the panhard (Check Spohn);

To my knowledge no one makes the track bar.

BMR makes a "track bar" as you call it. It is just to reinforce the panhard bar mounting ear. Just about every suspention company sells panhard bars.
Just a note: If you are as deep into these cars enough to be doing an engine swap, you might want to look into buying/reading a couple MODING YOUR CAMARO kind of manuals. I did, read them twice and now I know everything about these cars and how to upgrade every part. Def worth the time and $.

looking in the chiltons manual, they refer to them as track bars. I dont see anything about a pan hard bar, that is why i'm asking.

The panhardbar brace doesn't need to be repalaced unless you wanna go "all out" on the modding side. The brace is adequat for any street, drag and auto-X ing. The main reason to change it is to gain more clearance for exhaust pipes over the other side of the axle. If you wanna attempt true duals.
Go to bmrfabrication.com. Check out their site and read the part descriptions. They will explain absoluly everything and when you find something you like, buy it.

Ok let me give u quick rundown. This is really a lot easier to learn from a book with pics....
looking from the back of the car for perspective.
From the top of the frame on the left side, the PANHARD BAR BRACE goes from there to the right side. And it mounts to the PANHARD BAR MOUNTING EAR. Then from the right side, the ear, the PANHARD BAR goes from the ear to the axle.
the two arms that run up allong the sides are called REAR TRAILING ARMS.
and finally the large arm that leaves the axle and heads twords the front of the car, that runs up the trany tunnel, is the TORQUE ARM.
If any of this is news to you, I would highly highly recomend you get a book on ebay for 15 bucks. You will learn more there than 6 months of asking questions.
