Sub-Frame Connectors?

I have an 1989 formula 350 and want to add bolt on subframe connectors. I and looking at several different brands including
S and W race cars, Competition Engineering, and Jegs even has their own brand. The S and W look great but are $350 the other two don't look quiet as good but cost alot less. I am open to any other suggestions to.

bolt on sfcs

i would reccomend going against bolt ons as you will have problems down the line like bolts coming loose, not to mention the holes where the bolts go through will get bigger too. Nothing but problems with bolt ons. Do it right the first time and weld them in....and you shall have no problems.

Check out the umi ones thats what i ordered.

That is some great info about not using bolt on subframe connector. Does anyone know how much it cost to get them weld on. I don't have the equipment.

I stripped out my carpet and took mine to a local exahust shop and paid $75. The only thing they didn't do is paint over the welds to keep it from rusting, I did that myself.

Whatever you do....make sure when whoever welds them up that it is done on a lift that you drive up on. ALL 4 WHEELS HAVE TO BE ON GROUND TO WELD THEM PROPERLY. Not the kind of lift that picks you car up from the sides like this < >
