I found some heavy steel tubing today, however I'm concerned that the tubing may be too thick, too heavy. for SFC's. And no, can't measure the thickness right now, not until I cut the welded on caps off.

That's just for "straight" ones, right, not including the additional brace that some use, or the design the KB are ?
Dang it, I bet the tubing I got is more like 40 lbs each *lol* gotta weight it

Just weighed one tube. Looks like it may be 5 feet long, and it weighs 18 lbs. It may be a bit too heavy, but I may just go with it, heck I'd have some real stiff SFC's

I have Spohn round tube SFC. 4 bars. Two main ones and the 2 little "Y" bars.
All 4 bars are 25 lbs

Well thats the odd part. You would think the Spohns would be much lighter than others based on thier looks.
I don't have other third gen SFC but the SSM 2"x3" rectangle type SFC for my second gen only weighs 30 lbs for the set.
25 for the little round spohns and 30 for these and they are longer, wider, taller, etc

OK, not sure how much mine will end up weighing, but my guess would be anywhere between 35 and 50 lbs, oh well it'll work.
