daily driver suspension w/o breaking the bank...

i'm looking to redo the shocks, struts, and springs, but can't really spend about 500-700 on bilsteins or konis. i was wondering if there are any prooducts that would be good for a few years. i really don't mind having to replace it in a year or two when i can actually afford a good suspension set-up.

I used:

KYB GR-2 for the fronts. KYB-236001 ($50/each)
KYB Gas-a-Just for the rear. KYB-KG5562 ($30/each)
Moog HD springs all around
And ES poly/polygraphite mounts & bushings all around
Rides very tightly now...

I got the Moog springs locally (it's actually HD Z28 rear springs and HD RS in the front), but everything else from Summit.

I am using the exact same setup minus the springs(KYB GR-2s up front, Gas a justs in the rear, ES bushings all around). I may keep the stock springs in right now.

PhLaXuS: Did the ride height change at all when you put on the new MOOG springs? I heard that the springs tend to sag over time granted they are still the original springs, and Im afraid to get those if the car gets raised a bit.

When I want to get better than stock handling on a budget I go with Tokiko HP's front/rear, Eibach Pro-Kit springs, and OEM replacement bushings. Not saying its the best way or anything, thats just how I do it on a budget. Its alright as far as performance goes (better than stock IMO) but more importantly I find the ride acceptable for a mild mannered street car you can drive anywhere. You could do the same combo with poly bushings, depends on what you want.
